Installing MetaMask

MetaMask is the most widely used EVM wallet and works great with trustor on Base.

Desktop (Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Edge)

1. Go to the official site: https://metamask.io/download. Only use this URL — phishing clones are common.
2. Click Install MetaMask for [your browser].
3. Approve the extension install in your browser.
4. Click the MetaMask fox icon in your toolbar and choose Create a new wallet.
5. Set a strong password.
6. Write down your 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase on paper and store it offline. Never type it into any website.
7. Confirm the phrase to finish setup.

Mobile (iOS / Android)

1. Install MetaMask from the App Store or Google Play (publisher: MetaMask).
2. Open the app → Create a new wallet → set a password → save the recovery phrase.
3. To use trustor on mobile, open the in-app browser and navigate to the trustor URL.

Connect to trustor

1. Open trustor.
2. Click EVM in the top right.
3. Approve the connection in the MetaMask popup.
4. If prompted, approve the switch to Base mainnet.
